landscape as basis
as foundational and
as the place to return to
the river through the seasons
time. quiet stillness, constant
movement
swallowing barriers
succumbing to drought, never immune to threat
even as it wields its power
humans cut through the sources
with dams
the control and power that dislocates
marginalizes
are turn tot he original state
is an impossibility, there is only
creating anew and through
the humane and non human
dialogic
the only way out is thorugh
