“from” (2018). One minute film of research experiments at Topaz Internment Camp Site, Utah. "from" refers to the seemingly innocuous preposition embedded in questions to those who are deemed foreign. “from” relies on hegemonic borders that define who belong where. “from” is informed by collaborative delving into deeply personal family archives and is envisioned as a sound, movement and multimedia performance and installation.
